wfmw – lazy woman’s price book

wfmwsmalljpg.jpeg

I love couponing, and save quite a bit of $$, but I’ve never taken it to the next level: the Price Book! I even have a great one printed out & waiting in my home management notebook. I just can’t get into the whole chart thing – I’m a random list girl. I realized this morning, as I was making my weekly list of grocery ad deals, that I already have a quirky sort of price book & didn’t even know it.

Every week when the ads arrive, I sit down with my handy dandy Motivated Moms chore planner & jot down any great deals I see. I just write it on the back of the previous week’s page. It dawned on me this morning that I can flip through my lists and take note of the sale patterns. It’s not as organized as a price book, but it works for me!

Here are some not-very-good picsĀ  :o )

That’s a great way to do it! I don’t see why it’s a lazy way at all, that still is a lot of work ;)

Makes sense to me! I’ve never done a pricebook either, because it seems like it would take too much time. I like your way!

Amy,
Great idea. I tend to keep all those prices rolling around in my head. My daughter tells me that I am always telling her when we are at one grocer that I always repeat what the Wal mart price is, which in our town is not always cheapest.

I love this and will give a ‘written’ price book another whirl.

Thanks for the visit today and linking to my blog! I can’t wait to look around yours!
Many blessings,

That is such a great idea. I have tried repeatedly to do a price book over the past several years but I just do not get there! I like your idea. It will help me to know what is on sale around me! Thank you.

All for His glory,
